文学是照进现实世界的一道光，我想起了瓦尔登湖，想起了梭罗，梭罗在瓦尔登湖的夕阳下找到自己的位置，而我们在洱海，与灵魂相依，在这里寻一种探索自然生活的新途径，《白日梦》是我对梭罗《瓦尔登湖》的现实主义想象......
我们思考时间的意义，时间的价值。我们想把返璞归真的美丽蕴藏在这个作品中，白日梦造一处自然艺术实验室，在这里时间是清晰的，深邃纯净无杂质，一切锁在了时间里了。那里一切都停住了，时间也停住了，时间就是一个孩子，一个在海滩嬉戏的孩子。
Literature is a light shining into the real world. I think of Walden, as well as Thoreau. Thoreau found his place in the sunset of Walden. As we were at the Erhai Lake, relying on the soul, exploring new ways of natural life. So it comes to "Daydream", my realistic imagination of Thoreau's Walden...
Whether the installation, sculpture or space, daydreaming is full of light. In previous works, light has been playing the role of the auxiliary work. The creative materials in my hands can be oil paint, earth, stones or anything with a specific texture, but not light. But the tools created in “Daydream” are not brushes and knives, but light.
In the creation of “Daydream”, we’ve got a kind of pleasure that seems to use the hallucinogen. All the senses feel relaxing, and placed in the created light space, and follow the guidance of light to the heart. In one piece of peace, the temporary removal of the external world's bondage to the body made the mind suddenly clear.
We think about the meaning of time and the value of time. We want to bring back the simple beauty to this work, imagining to create a natural art laboratory. At this place, time is clear, deep and pure without impurities, everything locked in time. Everything stopped there, so is time. Just like time is a child, a child who plays on the beach.
