该项目位于一个三面与道路相连的街区，包含三种用途。
首先，房子的核心功能，如卧室，位于最顶层，让住户拥有更广阔的视野。该区域为“漂浮区”。 “漂浮区”向空中伸出 7 米，而映射着周围环境的游泳池则突出了一种轻盈感。
第二个区域是休闲公共区域， “漂浮区”下方被设计以实现休闲功能，没有明确的边界，玻璃将户外风景引入视野。
一楼，裸露的混凝土饰面与生活区并列，作为服务区和车库功能的节点，混凝土外壳作为相邻道路的视觉和声学屏障。整体而言，服务区的构成和重量给人一种混凝土底座的印象，加上公共区域的透明度，展示了这一杰作——“漂浮盒子“。

The land of which this project sits is situated on a block that is bordered by roads on three sides. For the program, the architect interpreted the brief into three usages. First, the core functionality of the house such as bedrooms are clustered on the uppermost floor, with the intent on exposing users to the sprawling view beyond. This area became the ‘floating quarter’. The ‘floating quarter’ projects 7m into the air whilst a swimming pool reflecting its surroundings accentuates a sense of lightness.
The second zone can be described as the causal common area, the informal function is emphasized sitting below the ‘floating quarter’ with a boundary almost without definition as the glazed envelope pulls the outdoors in.
On the ground floor bare concrete finishing juxtaposes the living zones as a nod towards the function of the service area and garage, the concrete encasing acting as a visual and acoustic barrier to the bordering roads. As a whole, the composition and weight of the service zone gives the impression of a concrete plinth, together with the transparency of the common area, showcases the ‘masterpiece’ that is the floating box.

Feng Shui became another condition of the design, this is shown across the home, for example; the entering of the courtyard from the parking zone has a reference angle taken from feng-shui.
