万科中心位于大梅沙度假村，附近有便利的交通系统：地面交通四通八达；良好的交通系统，方便了人们出行或是货物运送。同时设计还为自行车，汽车提供了充足的车位，提倡使用减排汽车，为低排放汽车提供优先泊位；地下室有淋浴设施，大大方便了员工的生活。下沉庭院、水系、绿地、山丘的完美组合形成丰富的立体景观，使空间最大化开放。抬高了的建筑设计使地面空间完全释放，留给大地最大的景观空间，并可以加强风的对流，营造局部良好的微气候环境。丰富的外来和本地物种的种植，使得整个中心常年青翠，清幽怡人。此外，独特的结合太阳能光电系统的屋顶花园设计不仅扩大视野、美化环境，同时降低顶层太阳得热，也减轻热岛效应，达到了和谐与经济的双重效益。

All the doors, floors and furniture are made from bamboo, which is easily available in the area and quickly renewable, and the carpets throughout the building are made from completely recycled material. Special windows are designed to keep the building cool by blocking solar heat while still allowing plenty of sunlight, lowering the cost of air conditioning. In addition, the Vanke Headquarters' roof is covered by solar panels, which will provide up to 15 percent of the office's electricity.
