项目位于无锡运河边的机床厂老厂区，一期将原有大厂房改造为商业及美术馆，本项目为二期新建部分。考虑到周边有大量成熟住区，二期整体定位为品质生活，强调文化及艺术特色。结合项目的历史人文特质打造生活美学的博物港。建筑设计上以运河岸边的山岩和晶体为设计理念，与一期较为封闭的红砖厂房呼应的是红色陶板的山体，面向运河是璀璨透明的玻璃体，将运河美景尽收眼底，且面对运河有极强的标识性吸引人们前往。新建筑与原有老厂房在质感、色彩上有所延续，同时在整体形态上又有新生的力量感。在建筑设计的同时在内部营造出了富有动感和趣味的峡谷空间。

In the first phase, the original large factory building will be transformed into a commercial and art museum. The project is a new part in the second phase. Considering that there are a large number of mature residential areas around, phase II is positioned as quality life, emphasizing cultural and artistic features. Combined with the historical and cultural characteristics of the project, build a museum port of life aesthetics. In the architectural design, the design concept is the rock and crystal on the Bank of the canal, which corresponds to the red ceramic plate of the first phase of the relatively closed red brick factory building. Facing the canal, it is a bright and transparent glass body. It has a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery of the canal, and it has a strong identity to attract people to go. The new building and the old plant have some continuity in texture and color, and at the same time have a new sense of strength in the overall form. At the same time of architectural design, it creates a dynamic and interesting Canyon space in the interior.
