Before reaching the restaurant on the 20th floor, customers need to carry their dishes and cross a long corridor that serves as a buffer zone. In this regard, the design team used the natural beauty outside the window to solve the problem of too low ceiling and too long traffic flow line. Through the huge windows, surrounded by the scenery of Nakdong River, the park and Seobu Mountain, the length of the streamline is not easy to detect.
In order to bring the outside nature into the room, the design team used wooden finishes and stone materials, making customers feel as if they are dining in the forest. With the introduction of the natural environment, the first floor mainly focuses on the construction of the internal environment, while the 20th floor integrates the internal space with the external natural environment instead of being disconnected. In space design, "sense of space" is the first factor to be considered. At that time, the design team was infected by a poem-"The river loses its name when it enters the sea. The water flow hesitates between the river and the sea. Before the river merges into the sea, its life is difficult to be complete. At the mouth of the Nakdong River, Manha Heo." Like this poem, Gupo TT Hotel becomes a place that resonates with nature at the meeting point of the river and the sea, raising nature alone to the level of philosophy.
